Encountering the King is a conference for women from all walks of life to come together and learn more about Jesus through the book of Revelation. Through worship, teaching, and meaningful conversation, we will encounter Christ not as distant or abstract, but as the reigning King who meets us personally in our real lives. We will explore what it means to be transformed by Jesus, anchored in truth, and given courage to shine for His glory.

Main Session 1: Falling Down by Shannon Fodale
In this session, we’ll unpack Revelation 1:9–20 to reflect on what it means to live in a Good Friday world and encounter the Easter Jesus, the King.
Main Session 2: Passing the Test by Shannon Fodale
In this session, we’ll explore Revelation 3:14-22 to see that faithfulness isn’t about passing the test through our own effort, but about recognizing our need for Jesus.
Main Session 3: Encountering the King in a Sexually Broken World by Ellen Dykas, Harvest USA
In this session, two sisters will share testimonies of their sexual struggles and how encountering King Jesus brought hope and healing through the resources of Harvest USA.
Main Session 4: Knowing your Foe by Shannon Fodale
In this session, we’ll study Revelation 12 and consider who the real enemy is: Satan.
Main Session 5: Worshipping the King – Corporate Worship
In this session, we’ll gather to worship the King through Word and song.
You’ll choose one workshop to attend on the day of the event. No need to register or sign up for it.
Workshop 1 – Evangelism: Helping Others Encounter the King | By Tori Day & Kat Kuciemba
Romans 1 says that everyone knows there is God. Come hear how that simple truth can give confidence to sharing the Gospel everywhere you go.
Workshop 2 – Encountering the King When Anger is Blinding | By Kate Wesner & Kathryn Zimmerman
Are you surprised by your anger? Jesus uses our anger as an opportunity to depend on and turn our hearts to Him. Find out how in this workshop.
Workshop 3 – Encountering the King When Life is Unexpected | By Genna Dimmick & Becca Lacock
“That wasn’t what I planned. What am I supposed to do now?” How seeing Jesus in an unexpected way transforms our hearts and helps us to live for Him no matter the twists and turns of life.

Our church provides free parking, but please carpool if you can. Parking includes designated handicap spaces and accessible spots. We also have an elevator to ensure that everyone can easily attend and feel welcome.
