It's really not that important where you Worship whether it be in your backyard, a park, an office, or in a church building. Providence Presbyterian started in a store front in Quakertown, PA. Within a few years we were renting a fire hall for services. In 2004 we broke ground for our current facility. We don't worship the building. We worship God.Come join us, we are open every Sunday.
If you need directions, please visit our Directions Page, we look forward to seeing you!
Providence is ADA accessible on the sanctuary level (upper level) and the fellowship hall level (lower level) through exterior doors. There are no stairs or ramps to negotiate when accessing either level through the exterior doors. ADA equipped restrooms exist on both levels of Providence. Permit restricted parking spaces are available on both the upper parking area and the larger lower parking area.
Providence is situated on 12 acres of land right along route 663 in Milford Township, PA. Our neighbors are corn fields and the Milford Township Building. About half of the property is maintained as a grassy area that we use for fellowship events (movie nights, vacation Bible School, outdoor gatherings) and the other half is a hay field.
Providence is graced with three classrooms on the lower level of the building. These classrooms are generally used for Sunday School. On the upper level, there is one larger meeting room off of the narthex.
Providence has a large modern kitchen with a commercial dishwashers, two stoves, two microwave ovens, two refrigerators and an abundance of outlets and counter space for crock pots during a fellowship meal.
Constructed before the main building, the pavilion is a favorite gathering place for summer picnics and outdoor events. The pavilion has an exterior water spout and electrical power for items like food warmers and sound systems. Since the building is powered, there is lighting for night time events. Under the covered area, there are 10 large (and heavy) picnic tables.
Our sanctuary is equipped with audio amplification devices for personal use. If you need one, please just ask one of the sound technicians prior to the start of the service for a reciever and ear piece and return it afterwards.
Sermons are available for download online and through YouTube.
